Ballantine’s True Music Fund

For Ballantine's, I worked on a series of short films celebrating the winners of the True Music Fund across seven countries. The premise was built around co-creation — each film needed to genuinely reflect the community it came from rather than impose a house style onto it, which made the creative process as much about listening as directing.
My role ran the full length of the project: developing client decks, writing individual video treatments for each of the seven recipients, and managing the briefing of contributors and suppliers throughout. I led on copywriting, oversaw post-production, and directed a remote shoot in Colombia — working closely with a local team to make sure the film captured something real rather than just something polished. Seven countries, seven distinct stories, one coherent series.
