Halcyon Collective Launch Weekend
Role: Creative Director, Event Producer, Designer.
The Halcyon Collective launch weekend was a two-day programme produced in collaboration with ChromaYoga and Inner Vision. I led the project end to end, from concept development and scheduling through to on-site delivery. The programme centred around ChromaYoga’s multisensory movement classes, supported by a bespoke paper origami installation that I designed and built to diffuse coloured lighting throughout the space.
Alongside the movement programme, I curated and delivered a collage workshop with Inner Vision to create a quieter, reflective counterpoint within the schedule. The project involved hands-on event production, collaborator management, technical coordination and detailed planning to ensure a smooth flow across multiple sessions and disciplines, resulting in a cohesive launch experience that clearly introduced Halcyon Collective’s creative direction and values.
Moodboard and creative process
I drew on references that explored how sculptural forms can shape atmosphere rather than simply decorate a space. The decision to create an origami ceiling came from a desire to work with light as a material in its own right, using folded paper to soften, diffuse and redirect colour throughout the room.
The installation functioned both practically and conceptually, transforming the space through texture and shadow while creating a calm, immersive environment that shifted subtly across each class.
Outcome
The launch weekend successfully positioned Halcyon Collective as a design-led wellbeing platform and created strong early momentum around the brand. The event was supported by gifting from lululemon, Heights, Moju and Something & Nothing, reinforcing the project’s credibility and alignment with brands operating in wellbeing, performance and considered lifestyle. These partnerships enhanced the guest experience while also demonstrating Halcyon Collective’s ability to attract and collaborate with established brands at an early stage.
The weekend resulted in strong attendance, positive feedback and clear interest in future events, memberships and collaborations, laying a solid foundation for ongoing growth.
