Role: Senior Creative.
Working in partnership across the entire Pernod Ricard portfolio, Boiler Room held a 3 day festival in a huge ex-car factory in Amsterdam. I was asked to pitch and develop ideas that would enhance the audience and broadcast experience across the entire venue.
After an initial research and development stage, I designed and worked with internal and external production crews to create a selection of my ideas that were chosen by the client:
Leading with Boiler Room’s signature style of the DJ being ‘in the round’, I consulted on the build of a C-shaped DJ table to allow the audience a 360 view as well as doubling up as a podium for dancers/performers.
A light installation was created in the entrance of the building using powerful LED bars to create walls of coloured light that attendees could walk through when they arrived.
An installation which incorporated branding, projections, CMYK lighting and scaffold to act as a chillout area and opportunity for social sharing.
Interactive set design using retro TVs that mixed Boiler Room visual effects with live feedback of those who were standing in front of it.
Branded Absolut AR filters for social sharing.
